Identity is oneself

Identity

Many people are on a quest to find out who they really are. Some peoples’ sense of identity is defined by their better half, aspiring to be someone or something, to wish to be better than they already are, or even aspiring to have a better half. Let’s give a wake up call and say, that’s not necessarily what your identity should be. I think of identity as a relationship with oneself.  True happiness isn’t depended on people or things. People die, money will be spent, cars can be totaled, and relationships end.  The fact of the matter is, identity is a part of happiness. The key to happiness is to have a relationship with oneself, be in touch with your emotions.

Very true! Happiness is not dependent on circumstances, people or things. Happiness is often a byproduct of doing what you love and loving what you do… and loving who you are. Actually, loving everything for it’s magnificent, impeccable balance is key.
Happiness is a feeling, not a thing. It doesn’t last, for if one was totally happy all the time, there would be no growth.
